Precious Protechtor Fabric
The fabric which is used to make all Precious Protechtor products uses advanced nano-technology to reduce silver into ions and then impregnate it permanently throughout the material.

The silver ions then act as an antibacterial barrier killing germs within 60 minutes including superbugs such as the highly tolerant MRSA. They also help to maintain freshness in garments by eliminating odour causing bacteria.

Properties of Silver
Today, silver is present in a variety of everyday items. Its antibacterial properties benefit trusted products such as burn care treatments, bandages, catheters and even plasters for our childrens cuts.

Silver kills bacteria by destroying their oxygen metabolism enzyme thereby causing suffocation. Viruses are destroyed as a result of the silver ions causing their internal protoplast to collapse thereby stopping their reproductive ability.

Thermo-regulation
As well as the antibacterial action the fabric also boasts a thermo-regulation system. The unique patented secret is in its multi-channel cross section, special textile design and finishing. It applies the capillary theory to textile development and moves moisture away from the skin to the outer layer of the fabric

It then dries that moisture faster than any other fabric and thermo-regulates the body. The irregular network of fibres creates numerous contact points giving rise to capillary action which is important for the transport of liquid moisture. These multi-fibre contact points do not occur with traditional round fibres because of their geometry.

The excellent transport, drying and comfort characteristics ensures that moisture does not accumulate but quickly reaches the surface where it is released to the surrounding air, thus the skin stays drier longer and moisture traps in the microclimate close to the skin are avoided.
